Phenolic board insulation material Phenolic board insulation is made of phenolic foam. Phenolic foam is a new type of incombustible, fireproof and low smoke insulation material. It is a closed cell rigid foam made of phenolic resin with foaming agent, curing agent and other additives. Its outstanding characteristics are non combustible, low smoke, and high temperature resistance. Known as "insulation material". It overcomes the shortcomings of the original foamed plastic insulation material, such as flammability, smoke and deformation in case of heat, and retains the characteristics of the original foamed plastic insulation material, such as light weight and convenient construction.
