Product Description
This product has exceptional abilities to prevent water vapor from passing through, as well as being strong and resistant to damage and oxidation. It also has the ability to stick to itself, resist corrosion, and withstand weak acids and alkalis. It is particularly suitable for joining pipe seals, HVAC pipes, insulation, and water vapor barriers for both cold and hot water pipes. This is especially important in the shipbuilding industry.
The backing of this product is made of layers that can easily conform to different shapes and has a smooth and consistent unwinding process. The adhesive used is made of silicone and can withstand high temperatures. The reflective backing also provides protection from heat and light. It can operate continuously at temperatures up to 200ºC and intermittently at temperatures up to 250ºC. Additionally, it is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.
